By submitting a listing, you agree to adhere to the following mandatory standards.
Business location and legitimacy
BuildPro is committed to listing only active, legitimate businesses operating within the United States.
Mandatory Google map verification
We require all listings to prove a verifiable physical or service location.
- Every single listing and every additional branch location must include a valid Google Maps embed code.
- The business name displayed on the Google Map pinned location must exactly match the business name entered into your BuildPro listing.
- Your listing is subject to ongoing editorial review. Listings found to be non-compliant with the Google Map verification rule will be removed.
U.S. businesses only
- Only businesses with a physical presence or defined service area within the United States are accepted.
Listing content and accuracy
The accuracy of your listing is managed entirely through your self-service dashboard.
- You are responsible for ensuring all details—including business name, address, phone number, and hours of operation—are accurate and current.
- While you control your details via the dashboard, we reserve the right to perform ongoing editorial reviews. Content found to be misleading, fraudulent, or in violation of any legal standard will be immediately removed.
- Listings include the ability to add up to 10 branch locations at no extra cost. Each branch must also meet the mandatory Google Map verification requirement
Tips and tricks for creating your business listing
Tip #1: Chose the most appropriate category
Choose the category that best describes your site, products and services. This will help consumers find your listing more easily. Each URL you submit comprises 1 listing. Do not submit the same URL more than once.
Tip #2: Clearly describe what you offer
Use an appropriate name for your site title, such as your company, product or service name. Irrelevant titles or titles that are too long will be edited or may cause your submission to be rejected. Also, use appropriate descriptions that will clearly indicate what services you offer. Overly promotional language may be removed or your submission may be rejected.
